The Qur’an Conference

Association of Qur’anic Understanding (AQU),  in collaboration with Al-Furqaan Foundation, and IQRA’ International Educational Foundation hosted the 1^st annual Qur’an Conference in Chicago with the theme of “Building a Relationship with the Qur’an”. This successful inaugural event under the vision and leadership of Dr. Irfan Ahmad Khan, brought together speakers from all over the world presenting on various aspects of how one can improve their personal relationship with the Qur’anic text. Some of our major accomplishments are:

1. The entire event was successfully managed financially as a breakeven project with a net zero effect on the Foundation’s donations and expenses
2. The collaboration and cooperation between the 3 organizations, their staff and volunteers was exemplary and serves as a model for future conferences
3. The conference laid the groundwork for it becoming an annual event in Chicago
