FIQE, the adult education division of Al-Furqaan Foundation, offers many courses to new-Muslims and Muslims alike. Courses are offered both Online and Onsite at two locations – one in Bolingbrook, IL and one in our corporate office in Addison, IL. We also offer online courses by networking scholars around the country on our web-based platform.

1. Provided FREE classes throughout the year on Qur’an Islam and Arabic to new-Muslims and Non-Muslims who wanted to learn
2. Over 80 students participated either online or onsite last year in our 13 week semester system
3. Classes offered include How to read the Qur’an, Qur’anic Arabic (3 levels), Tajweed, Tafseer of small surahs and Basics of the Deen
4. Conducted over 12 lecture series on variety of subjects at the Bolingbrook Masjid every Tuesday evening. These have been reproduced both online and on CDs. Most lecture series are about 6 weeks in duration
5. Released a 6 CD set Audio Lecture on “Identity Crisis in the Muslim Ummah” by Sheikh Omar Baloch
6. Revamped the FIQE website at www.fiqe.org

AmmuFurqaan.com

AmmuFurqaan (ammufurqaan.com) is a brand of FIQE that is an easy to remember name and is designed to teach Muslims, particularly new-Muslims, various aspects of Islam. We hope that any time a Muslim wants to learn anything about the Deen they think “AmmuFurqaan”. We offer a variety of products like “How to Pray”, “How to Do Wudu”, etc. and other basic materials such as flashcards and posters along with detailed multimedia education online, Insha’Allah. Our achievements for 2009 include:

1. AmmuFurqaan Teaches “How to Pray” double sided cards in English and Spanish
2. AmmuFurqaan Teaches “How to Pray” posters in both English and Spanish
3. Began development on a number of CDs to be produced in 2010 such as AmmuFurqaan Teaches “Bedtime Recitations” – a collection of Ayaat and Du’as to read before sleeping
4. Began development of AmmuFurqaan Teaches Arabic Flash cards. These Flash cards in a series of 4-5 decks will enable a student to know over 80% of the vocabulary of the Qur’an, insha’Allah
5. Signs and posters that are to be placed in Masajid for various purposes like “Place your shoes on the racks”, du’as for entering and leaving the Masjid, etc.  These products will be laminated and available through Ammufurqaan.org

Furqaan Arabic

Furqaan Arabic is a brand of FIQE which is designed to teach Arabic particularly to new-Muslims using flash cards ONLINE. We are currently working to get the entire vocabulary and grammar online on Flash cards so that over 80% of the language and the grammar of the Qur’an can be learned. This will be finished within 2010, Insha’Allah, but a number of flash cards are already available online, with more being added each day. The website will also be useful to Islamic Schools and Sunday Schools teaching the vocabulary of the Qur’an to all ages, insha’Allah.
